Finance should help you see what comes next

Every business is different. So is what it needs from finance.

Some companies need greater visibility into performance. Others need a forecast, stronger reporting, a more collaborative planning process, cleaner data, improved finance operations, or a financial model for the next stage of growth.

Project130 starts by understanding the business: where it is, where leadership wants to take it, and where additional financial capability could be most useful.

For founder-led companies, emerging brands, scaling businesses, and established companies with a specific finance need across health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, recovery, consumer products, technology, and longevity.

The Financial Health Assessment

A focused assessment designed to understand how finance supports the business today, and where additional insight, structure, or capability may be most valuable.

Format:

A focused engagement completed over 2–3 weeks, combining document review, leadership conversations, independent analysis, and a working session to walk through findings and recommendations. You'll receive a written summary and prioritized roadmap to keep.

What I'll need from you:

Access to the financial information and reporting you already use, plus time with the people closest to the business and its finances. I'll tailor what I request based on how your business operates.

Fee:

Fixed fee, scoped during our introductory conversation.

01Understand the business

Start with context

We begin with the business model, growth priorities, leadership goals, and the questions management wants finance to help answer.

02Assess the financial foundation

See what the numbers can tell us

We review financial reporting, data, systems, planning processes, KPIs, team structure, and existing tools to understand how finance currently supports the business.

03Connect the pieces

Identify what deserves attention next

We look across the business and finance function to identify opportunities for greater visibility, stronger planning, improved efficiency, or deeper financial insight.

A clear point of view

You leave knowing

What's working

The financial capabilities, processes, and reporting already serving the business well.

Where more insight could help

Areas where additional visibility, analysis, or structure may support leadership.

What matters most

The opportunities worth prioritizing based on the company's goals, stage, and resources.

What to do next

A practical recommendation for the next step, whether that means a specific project, advisory support, or nothing further at all.

Complete in itself

The assessment can stand on its own

The Financial Health Assessment gives leadership a clear view of where finance is supporting the business today, where additional capability could be useful, and what I would prioritize next.

If the assessment identifies an area where deeper work would be valuable, we can determine together whether a project or advisory relationship makes sense.

Start with clarity. Decide what comes next once we know more.

When you're ready for more

Two ways to go deeper

Each path is complete and valuable in its own right. The right choice depends on the business, the need, and the moment.
